Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, your day involves acting as a software detective, diligently investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. You will engage in continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of critical applications, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance. Your role is pivotal in identifying root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance user experience within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket build and configure
-Provide application support for JIRA and Confluence to IT the rest of the business
-Understanding of JIRA APIs and webhooks
-Support JIRA and Confluence users
-Work with business users to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation and configuration of the plug-ins
-Utilizes design skills to define JIRA workflows and the related screen schemes for complex and high impact projects
-Implement custom xml based JIRA gadgets
-Support and configure JIRA plugins as required
-Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooks
-Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as required

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: JIRA Administration.
- Experience in monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics using Grafana dashboards.
-Strong grasp of Jira schemes, JQL (Jira Query Language), and basic scripting/automation (Groovy, Java, or REST APIs).
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
-Good To Have Skills : Scripting skills and Integration skills
-Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform system health checks, backups, performance tuning, and software updates.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Grafana.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
