Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading and developing a team while driving cross-functional collaboration to support the development, execution, and ongoing management of Medicare Advantage product and bid strategies. Serving as a subject matter expert throughout the product lifecycle, this role evaluates product performance, conducts competitive and strategic market analysis, and develops innovative product and benefit strategies that support long-term growth and profitability. The position maintains constant awareness of industry trends, Medicare Advantage economic levers, and regulatory requirements to ensure competitive product positioning and effective bid outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Market teams, this leader translates business strategy and market insights into actionable product roadmaps, benefit changes, and regional growth initiatives while overseeing the successful execution and governance of the bid process.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and 7 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR 11 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting

• Two years’ experience managing and leading teams with experience in hiring and training staff and managing a departmental budget.

• Experience in managed care product development, benefits consulting or project management.

• Experience working with corporate leadership, interfacing and communicating at all levels of the organization.

• Experience managing multiple complex priorities and a heavy workload.

• Organizational skills and detail-oriented.

• Verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Business or Health Administration

• MBA or Masters Degree

• Health care industry experience

• 3+ years experience in Medicare Advantage Bid with an understanding of MA economics and bid requirements

• Proven analytical and strategic abilities in decision making and problem solving

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder relationships, including influencing decision-making, aligning priorities, and driving execution across multiple teams and organizational levels.

• Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage Star Ratings and quality programs, including the relationship between Stars performance, member outcomes, regulatory requirements, quality bonus payments, and product growth strategies.

• Advanced Excel experience necessary.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$102,000.00 - $184,300.00
