About the Role: The Private Label Product Developer owns new consumer product development from concept through production. The role works directly with overseas manufacturers to negotiate pricing, terms, and specifications, and carries responsibility for keeping every project moving on its own momentum. It suits someone who negotiates hard, tracks the details, and drives work forward without waiting for direction.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Develop new private label products from initial concept through production
- Own the full development lifecycle for assigned products
Manufacturer Relations
- Work directly with manufacturers in China and overseas
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and product specifications
Project Execution
- Keep development timelines on track and moving with urgency
- Proactively push projects forward and stay on top of every detail
Qualifications
- Product development experience, ideally with private label goods
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in China
- Strong negotiation skills
- Dynamic, energetic, and persistent — comfortable driving projects independently
