Your mission

In system:

Design the clinical studies, monitor them and interpret the results
- Develop or validate the design of clinical studies; define the methodology and the population to be selected and draft the study protocol.
- Ensure the methodological monitoring of the clinical study, analyze the results and draft the study reports
- Ensure that trials are performed in compliance with scientific protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Clinical Research Operating Instructions, Good Clinical Practice, regulations in force and allocated time-frames.
- Develop a relational network of potential experts and investigators in France and internationally.

POSITION’S ASSIGNMENT

Be responsible of product performance evaluation (including but not limited to clinical, instrumental, consumer, sensory and PCO test etc.), implementation, monitoring for the development of new products and new claims needs of product, and play as work package leader role to manage the project from end to end for performance evaluation working closely with the project team. and with experience of consumer insight.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Management and coordinate of product evaluation  implementation , monitoring of evaluation studies in aligned with the goals and strategic plan of PFDC;

• Development of study designs, propose research methods, monitoring different types of studies execution and validation of study report to achieve project objectives/deliverables to support the valorization of portfolio products
• Management of CRO and agency to ensure study process, documents (contract, CRF, daily log, ICF etc.) in good practice and quality, and adhere to the milestones.
• With knowledge of statistics and experimental design to support project planning and data interpretation and reporting, prepares and presents reports to key stakeholders.

• Understand Chinese cosmetic regulations, help to define the communication based on the conducted studies and market analysis, and in compliance with CSAR.
• Contribute and provide technical and scientific support (e.g. CASR abstract etc.) to internal partners (RA, formulation, mkt, sci com etc. ).
• Regularly monitoring of new claims, new methods, development and proposal of new and innovative methodologies to support the valorization of portfolio products and new developments

Conduct competitor monitoring, analysis, consumer insights.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (product development, RA, HQ, marketing) closely to perform effective teamwork and build good relationships and efficient problem-solving skills and capability (be able to resolve majority of technical problems/ questions independently).
• Be capable to handle and master project from end to end independently, including the evaluation programme management, exection, budget follow up, partner management, risk management etc.

• Enriched evaluation knowledge, with good skin, hair and scalp physiology knowledge, and be able to provide professional solution and advices to stakeholders and external partners.

Contribute to innovative evaluation/illustration methods/projects and be able to put innovative ideas into place with high efficiency, enable to support new claims and novel illustration.

• Guide junior level team member and provide suggestions/helps/support on them and their project.

• Support the setup and administrative affairs of clinical department.

TRAINING, WORK EXPERIENCE AND RELATED SKILLS

FORMATION

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy, biology, consumer science, physics, or optics etc.
• At least 6 years working experience in cosmetic performance evaluation field for master’s degrees.
• With consumer insight experience and consumer evaluation science is a plus

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGES:

• English: fluent
• French: will be a differential
• Microsoft Office
• Evaluation experience for derma cosmetic brand is a plus
