Description
The Role
Support the analysis, design, and detailing of building structural systems across educational, civic, cultural, and commercial projects. This is a development role on a licensure track, working directly alongside licensed structural engineers, architects, and interior designers in a single collaborative office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of building structural systems
- Prepare construction documents
- Perform design load calculations and structural modeling
- Perform site visits to verify existing field conditions
- Conduct interdisciplinary coordination with architecture, civil, and MEP
Qualifications Required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in building structural design
- FE passed and EIT designation preferred, or a clear intent to pursue licensure
- Working proficiency in the design of building structural systems and the production of construction documents
Preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA-3D or equivalent analysis software
- Exposure to existing-building assessment or renovation work
- Field experience verifying existing conditions
