Description
Responsibilities: The student assistants will be responsible for supporting the operations of the 6th-floor classroom and office in Cooper Hewitt (CH). Additional responsibilities include:
Serve as the student liaisons between Cooper Hewitt and Parsons
Contributing to the HDCS newsletter
Collaborating with Cooper Hewitt security on escorting faculty, students, and external visitors without CH IDs inside the facility.
Supporting HDCS-related events
Managing the 6th-floor workspaces: classroom, admin office, computer room, and lounge.
Maintaining supplies/inventory
Supporting faculty with technology
Qualification:
Must have a Cooper Hewitt ID and current HDCS student.
No previous experience is needed.
Work Mode: On-Campus (Cooper Hewitt) #LI-DNI
Availability: Office Hours are subject to change, mostly Wednesdays & Thursdays. Additional hours for work performed remotely relating to HDCS operations and for events when applicable.
Office hours will be split and arranged between the Student Assistant in collaboration with the Associate Director of Operations, Luke Alan Davis.
Rate: $18 per hour, 10 hours max per week.
