Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Admission Control in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting security-related procedures. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate retail or distribution location areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations through professional presence and consistent access-control practices.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, entry points, and parking areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
