For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills: 

  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a DBA SQLServer & Open Databases (MongoDB, SingleStore, MySQL, PostgreSQL), maintaining operational conditions through incident and change management.
  • Be able to analyze and optimize database performance, and advise other IT teams on queries.
  • Ability to contribute to technical and business projects, including architecture definition, version management, and obsolescence management.
  • Comfortable documenting security, supervision, backup, and restoration solutions, with a DevOps mindset.
  • Ability to ensure database availability by coordinating stakeholders (Studies, Production, Infrastructure, Security) and conducting technological surveillance on database tools and architectures (Cloud, Big Data, etc.).
  • Fluency in English (B2)
  • Availability for hybrid work (2x per week) in Lisbon, Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
