Dyson’s Global IT – Group Support Functions has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery, and support of all business applications enabling Dysons global planning, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, aftersales, finance, HR and legal business processes. Forming a significant proportion of the IT Function, the team is arranged into business and technology-focused domains:
• Global Supply Chain (including Planning & Mfg as well as Core Supply Chain Logistics)
• Finance Systems
• HR Systems
• Legal Systems
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior IT Product Manager, Supply Chain Systems, you will be responsible for the technical ownership, roadmap, architecture governance, and operational performance of SAP Supply Chain platforms and applications. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, AMS partners, and software vendors to ensure SAP solutions continue to meet Dyson's evolving business needs.
You will be accountable for maintaining a secure, scalable, and reliable SAP landscape while driving continuous improvement, technical modernization, and business value realization across Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Supply Chain execution processes.
The role is responsible for:
• Own and manage the SAP Supply Chain technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, platform architecture, and product priorities.
• Act as the technical authority for SAP Supply Chain applications, providing leadership on solution design, integration architecture, platform capabilities, and technology direction.
• Provide functional and technical expertise across SAP Supply Chain modules including S/4HANA, MM, SD, EWM and related planning solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business priorities into a technical platform roadmap.
• Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions with global business stakeholders.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, standardisation, and simplification.
• Produce high-quality artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases, functional specifications, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand business changes, challenges, and opportunities, and translate them into clear solution requirements.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and solution evaluations across business processes, systems, integrations, data, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support prioritisation and management of business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmaps.
• Provide functional expertise across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, and related business processes.
• Support the review and validation of solution designs to ensure business requirements are fully addressed.
• Drive the identification, prioritization, and remediation of technical debt, platform risks, and architecture improvements.
• Support delivery teams throughout project lifecycles by providing technical leadership, architecture review, and design governance.
• Ensure compliance with Dyson security standards, governance processes, and architecture principles.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
• Define and manage platform lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patches, releases, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Coordinate major platform changes and service upgrades with business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
• Produce and maintain platform resiliency plans, including Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Establish and monitor platform health, service KPIs, system performance, and operational metrics.
• Support delivery teams throughout project lifecycles by providing technical leadership, architecture review, and design governance.
• Review and approve solution designs, technical specifications, and integration approaches.
• Manage technical relationships with software vendors, system integrators, and AMS partners.
• Ensure successful transition of projects into production support through robust service transition and knowledge transfer processes.
• Partner with QA teams to support testing strategy, defect management, business validation, and production readiness.
• Manage platform-related risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations across global programmes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP analysts, developers, and delivery teams.
About You:
You should possess strong SAP Supply Chain domain expertise and technical leadership capabilities, with the ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders and technical teams. You will have experience managing enterprise-scale SAP landscapes and driving strategic technology decisions in a global organization.
You must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be able to operate effectively across geographically dispersed teams in a matrix-managed environment.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain delivery, product ownership, solution architecture, or platform management.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and one or more SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, EWM, TM, SD, QM).
• Experience with SAP IBP, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, and enterprise integration platforms is advantageous.
• Experience leading global SAP transformation programmes and multi-vendor delivery environments.
• SAP certification(s) and relevant architecture or agile product management certifications are advantageous.
