Having sold over 1 million vehicles since inception, NPA plays an important role in assisting clients with liquidating inventory and maximizing returns. Dealers throughout the world utilize NPA for acquisition of wholesale vehicles and to ensure their pre-owned inventory meets their customer's demands.
Seeking skilled powersports technician, employee is required to have basic knowledge in the powersports industry. Required to have experience in both metric and domestic manufacturers. One of the additional benefits of working in the wholesale environment is not having to deal with retail customers. All of our inventory is either bank owned or a dealer consignment.
Pay structure:
Hourly wage plus additional pay per hour flagged.
Summary of Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for diagnosing and repairing Motorcycles, ATV's, Side by Sides and Personal Watercraft across all Manufacturers including but not limited to:
Harley Davidson
Indian
Kawasaki
Suzuki
Honda
Yamaha
KTM
Triumph
Job Specific Responsibilities:
Diagnosis of issues with engines, transmissions, suspension components, electrical systems, clutches, brakes, drive chains, etc.
Testing of individual components and systems via diagnostic tools supplied
Repair and/or replacement of defective parts
Test operate vehicles before and after repairs
Inspect vehicles, and identify additional recommended services.
Job specific Requirements:
Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Have a good working knowledge of computers
Must be able to maneuver and operate a 2-wheel motorcycle with expertise
Must be able to lift 75lbs and push all motorcycles/ATV's with relative ease
Must not be sensitive to chemicals, cleaners, and fuel fumes
Responsible for all company equipment and tools associated with recon and service.
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Make sure top priorities are in and out as fast as possible while keeping the quality of work at the highest standards
Technician Requirements
1-5 years of experience as a Motorcycle Technician is preferred, but not required
Any Certifications from Harley Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Kawasaki, Can-Am, Polaris, etc. A PLUS!
MMI or equivalent training A PLUS!
Dependable and self-motivated.
Valid drivers license
