ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acknowledge and greet customers and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Ensure that dealers are following proper procedure and are obtaining the correct collection.
• Watch for crowds or multiple backline bettors and help determine if a new table needs to be opened.
• Inform the Shift Manager of any suspicious or unusual activity.
• Ensure that correct and accurate gaming decisions are made according to the company policies.
• Never indicate that tips, “tokes,” or gratuities are expected for service.
• Ensure the service and cleanliness of the designated area.
• Start and break games properly by providing correct table documentation.
• Be up to date on all rules, procedures, and gaming promotions pertaining to your section.
• Attend meetings on time and in full uniform ready to work.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures as stipulated in the Casino Title 31 and AML Program.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Must have prior Tiles Floor experience in a casino and/or cardroom (at least 2 yrs. of Tiles dealing experience preferred)
• Must be able to make change using American Monetary units
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department Work Permit

 

EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING

• A High School diploma or a General Education Degree

 

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and management
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Must have the ability to safely lift a minimum of 12 pounds
• Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Adult content environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 24-hour operation with a very fast paced environment
