We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Rush & Parts Expeditor. This full-time, 1st shift position is based in Simpsonville, SC, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork.
The Rush and Parts Expeditor position is responsible for receiving, storing, handling, moving, and shipping our materials and supplies for our expedited, warranty, and damaged orders to ensure that they are completed and shipped in accordance with customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Support the CARE values of the organization.
- Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.
- Assists in receiving material, equipment, and supplies delivered on purchase orders.
- Loads and unloads trucks containing material, supplies, and equipment.
- Moves material to proper location or work area.
- Follows company policies and procedures as it relates to material functions.
- Wraps, packs, and prepares products for movement and/or shipment.
- Performs periodic inventory and stock control on a limited basis.
- Maintains a clean safe working environment.
- Adheres to all applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack to transport and store materials
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory control, or production support experience preferred.
- Experience in a cabinet, woodworking, millwork, or related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills, including ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and bills of material.
