Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing semiconductor components and modules from production and customer returns to identify root causes of failures and provide comprehensive technical reports. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product quality, reliability improvement, and technology development. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced failure analysis equipment and state-of-the-art semiconductor technologies in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Perform failure analysis on semiconductor components and modules from production and customer returns, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting. Operate and maintain failure analysis equipment and test fixtures to ensure optimal performance and availability. Develop, review, and update failure analysis procedures, machine operating instructions, and work instructions. Explore and implement new failure analysis techniques, methodologies, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide technical guidance and training to engineers, technicians, and laboratory personnel on failure analysis methods and equipment operation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, defect analysis, productivity, and laboratory operations. Support Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) compliance and ensure safe laboratory practices are maintained. Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement corrective and preventive actions where required. Present technical findings, best practices, and innovations in internal forums, technical workshops, conferences, and industry symposiums. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A Degree, Master's Degree, or PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Applied Science, majoring in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science A Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
Engineering with 3 years of related working experience Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit operation, with a solid understanding of MOSFET/SiC device physics and semiconductor fabrication processes Ability to interpret system-level
schematics, IC schematics, and CMOS or bipolar IC layouts Experience with a wide variety of failure
