Job Description Summary

Product Definition Lead Engineer contributes to the work group in order to meet assigned objectives.
As a PDE Lead Engineer you will work on:
• Design & development of Gas Turbine parts - including 2D drawings and MBDs
• Technical improvement of existing products and components
In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute PDE support or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements.

• Execute new definition for parts and assemblies (3D models, MBD, 2D drawings), 2D cross sections using NX & Catia functionality.

• Review and check definition according with PDE standards.

• Create new or update existing definition per Gas Power standards.

• Create or update Bill of Material structures.

• Calculate Stack-up analysis.

• Implement and develop processes and procedures that assure the highest quality of provided deliverables and be consistent with engineering policies and standards.

• Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.

• Document and communicate results of technical data generated.

• Communicate team progress to all levels of the organization.

• Actively participate in advancing product definition simplification and automation initiatives.

• Complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.

Required Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Engineering.

• General knowledge of the Gas Turbine.

• Fundamental understanding of the mechanical engineering. 

• Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.

• Experience with commercial CAD package.

• GD&T & ASME Y14.5 & ISO understanding.
