If you enjoy solving complex inventory challenges, improving warehouse performance, working with data and collaborating across multiple functions, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on inventory integrity, warehouse performance and ultimately patient care.Within the Deliver Organization, you will support Medtronic's Heerlen Campus, the largest distribution center in the EMEA region. As a Warehouse Management Administrator based at the Heerlen 3 DC, you will combine warehouse management, inventory control and operational analysis to maintain inventory accuracy, investigate inventory discrepancies, resolve complex stock and system variances, and drive continuous improvement. Working closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain Planning and Customer Service, you will identify process improvement opportunities, support cross-functional problem resolution and help strengthen inventory control across the warehouse operation.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Execute inventory control activities, including cycle count follow-up, inventory reconciliations, stock adjustments, and system-to-physical inventory validation to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage non-conforming inventory, Product Hold inventory, Return to Vendor processes, inventory write-offs and other inventory disposition activities in accordance with quality and compliance requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by investigating inventory discrepancies, Service Incident Reports, transaction history, material movements and inventory imbalances to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform ABC analysis, maintain warehouse master data, optimize storage bin allocation and warehouse layout, and support inventory optimization within SAP Warehouse Management.
- Proactively analyse inventory transactions, movement history and stock variances to identify trends, investigate process deviations, support root cause analysis and engage Quality and Supply Chain Planning where required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing sustainable process improvements, strengthening inventory control practices and reducing recurring inventory discrepancies.
- Support the onboarding, training and coaching of new Warehouse Management team members, promoting standardized ways of working and inventory control best practices.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control or Warehouse Administration within a warehouse, distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP, and inventory control processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, data analysis and inventory monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience investigating inventory discrepancies and performing root cause analysis.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions.
- Proactive, flexible and solution-oriented, with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities, work independently and contribute to continuous improvement.
Experience with process automation, Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies is considered an advantage.
