Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor on a defined-term basis to join our team on the Nights shift at our Galway site.

Job Purpose:

Production Supervisor roles are now open for applications for suitably qualified candidates.

To be a successful Production Supervisor, you will develop and maintain a feasible plan for hiring, training, and managing personnel and ensuring quality issues, processes and material flows are operated efficiently. In your new role, you will actively demonstrate and propagate the core values of BSC, enhancing team performance as well as achieving success in cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration of Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review, Back Order review, Travel planning etc.
• Proactively managing training and versatility within the team to build flexibility and responsiveness.
• Interacting with the other manufacturing teams, cross-functionally and cross-shift.
• Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
• Planning - including developing /maintaining a viable plan incorporating hiring, training, capacity-modelling, efficiency/yield assumptions, ramp rate, learning curve etc.
• Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
• Displaying a good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
• Embodying excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with various support groups.

Education & Experience:

• Major Award (Level 8) or equivalent in related discipline for Production Supervisor.
• A minimum of five years of industry experience.
• Previous experience in people leadership, including demonstrated people motivation, organising, and team building.
• Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures
