Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a Commis Chef to join our Main Kitchen team, supporting both Banqueting and In Room Dining operations.

The role

As a Commis Chef, you will support the day to day operation of the Main Kitchen, working across Banqueting and In Room Dining services.

You will assist with preparation, production, and service while developing your culinary skills within a luxury hotel environment. Working closely with the Chef de Partie and senior culinary team, you will gain experience across a variety of service styles, from large scale events and functions to personalised in room dining experiences.

What you will do

• Assist with the preparation and execution of dishes for Banqueting and In Room Dining
• Support mise en place, service preparation, and stock rotation
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Follow all food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and kitchen areas
• Work collaboratively with chefs across the Main Kitchen operation
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and continuously develop your culinary skills

What we are looking for

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Apprentice Chef, or similar role is preferred
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and team focused approach
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Good communication skills and spoken English
• Right to Work in the UK

What to expect

• Full time position based on a 40 hour working week
• Five shifts per week across a rotating schedule
• Flexibility required across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
