Certified Public Accountant - Supervisor - Tax

We are looking for someone that really likes to do taxes. Simple but true. We need someone who understands how to prepare tax returns. The qualified candidate will also have strong experience at a Supervisor level and able to lead, direct, and review work of Staff Accountants. While we do prepare individual returns, we focus more on business returns; some are complex with multiple entities or multi-state clients or maybe a non-profit group or even a trust. We expect you to learn our company, policies, procedures and why we do what we do and how we do it. Once you understand these things we welcome suggestions and ideas to improve client service, processes, or ways to collaborate more effectively.

If you are a licensed CPA then you already possess the educational qualifications we require. However, we also require at least 5 years (more is better) of recent public accounting experience with at least 3 years as a CPA. We are looking for someone who is professional, positive, and dependable. We also look for someone who knows Word, Excel, Adobe, UltraTax, PracticeCS, Engagement, Quickbooks – desk top and online, Sureprep and Safesend. And, just a nice person who can work independently and collaboratively.

Your experience as a CPA in public accounting will determine your starting salary. Currently our salary range for a Supervisor is $98,280 to $147,420.00.
