Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distributor that has proudly served communities across Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Job Summary:
Driver Helpers support local delivery routes within an assigned territory, working with drivers to get product safely and efficiently to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with product delivery in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Unload product from the trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
- Stock cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
- Rotate product according to company standards.
- Collect empty keg shells, damaged goods, or mis-ordered product.
- Communicate clearly with delivery drivers, sales reps, and store personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Able to use standard handheld computer devices.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to regularly lift and move cases weighing 20–30 lbs., and occasionally up to 160 lbs. to waist height.
- Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Able to safely operate a delivery vehicle in a range of weather conditions.
