This full-time position is designed for individuals passionate about renewable energy and committed to the maintenance and efficiency of solar power systems. As a pivotal part of our operations team, the role involves hands-on service tasks, ensuring our solar installations continue to operate at peak performance. Please note, this is an on-site job and cannot be performed remotely.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance of solar panels and systems to ensure optimal performance.Diagnose and repair issues related to solar panels, inverters, and other system components.Conduct electrical safety checks and troubleshooting tasks to prevent potential system failures.Remove, reinstall, and replace defective solar panels and inverters.Update service records and maintain detailed logs of work performed.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during site visits and repairs.Manage inventory of tools and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair tasks.Work closely with the customer service team to ensure client satisfaction and service excellence.Perform site assessments for new installations or repairs, providing detailed technical input as needed.RequirementsProven experience as a solar technician or similar role in the solar industry.Strong understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems and components, including inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring.Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.Proficient in using tools and equipment required for solar panel maintenance and repair.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, as the role requires travel to various job sites.Physical fitness and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical customers.Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field is preferred.Experience with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repair.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.Hours, Compensation & Benefits:Full-Time position, approximately 40 – 50 hours per weekPerformance based positionHealth, Prescription, Vision benefits availablePaid Holiday, Vacation and PTO days
