Your Role at Baxter

In this role, you will lead fulfillment operations across Latin America, ensuring the reliable, efficient, and compliant delivery of Baxter products to customers throughout the region. As a key member of the regional supply chain leadership team, you will partner closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Global Supply Chain leaders to drive customer service, operational excellence, and profitable growth.

You will oversee warehousing, transportation, distribution, import/export operations, inventory deployment, and third-party logistics providers across LATAM. Additionally, you will lead initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience, optimize network performance, and advance digital capabilities while building a high-performing organization focused on customer success.


Your Team

You will lead a team of up to 20 supply chain professional, multiple 3PL providers, and a regional distribution network. This role is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
 

What you'll be doing

  • Lead Regional Fulfillment Operations – Direct warehousing, distribution, transportation, import/export activities, and third-party logistics partnerships to ensure reliable product supply and exceptional customer service.

  • Drive Customer-Focused Performance – Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to improve service levels, responsiveness, inventory performance, and customer experience across the region.

  • Optimize Logistics & Network Performance - Lead initiatives that improve productivity, inventory deployment, working capital, and total delivered cost while supporting profitable growth.

  • Advance Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation – Champion continuous improvement, automation, advanced analytics, and digital supply chain solutions that improve efficiency and operational visibility.

  • Strengthen Risk Management & Compliance – Ensure business continuity, regulatory compliance, trade compliance, and effective governance across internal operations and logistics partners.

  • Build Organizational Capability – Develop and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fulfillment, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or operations.

  • Experience leading complex, multi-country supply chain or logistics operations within a regulated environment.

  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, import/export operations, and third-party logistics management.

  • Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, network optimization, and supply chain transformation initiatives.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets, logistics costs, inventory investments, and productivity programs.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.

  • English & Spanish fluency required; Portuguese preferred.
