Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a junior-level Azure Engineer (US Citizenship required). This a newly-awarded contract, so the selected candidate must be a self-starter who is eager to quickly integrate with a high-performing team responsible for accrediting and implementing a new digital evidence platform for our Federal Government client. This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely with occasional travel to Washington DC as needed.
What you will be doing
- Assist in building and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Support cloud governance, security configurations, and operational best practices.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud infrastructure issues across Azure networking, compute, identity, storage, and container services.
- Participate in team design sessions and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure components, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Learn and apply Azure platform updates, IaC best practices, and automation standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and assist with implementing cloud solutions.
