About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support our strategic and in-year forecasting, outlook and ad-hoc modelling processes. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality financial models, consolidating inputs, and delivering clear and insightful analysis and communication materials to support decision-making across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Forecasting & Outlook:
- Build and maintain in-year forecasting models, ensuring accuracy and consistency of inputs
- Consolidate forecasts across operating units and functions, ensuring timely and complete submissions
- Support the maintenance of rolling outlooks, tracking changes, risks and opportunities
- Run scenario and sensitivity analysis based on defined assumptions
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across forecasting templates
- Support strategic planning processes through technical skills and aiding in the preparation of communication materials and guidance
Financial Performance Insight:
- Analyse in-year performance and identify key variances versus forecast and prior periods
- Support investigation of performance drivers through data analysis and collaboration with stakeholders
- Produce regular reporting packs with clear commentary on business performance
- Translate data into clear and structured insights to support business understanding
Business Partnering Support:
- Support the preparation of Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR) and Performance Board (PB) materials
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand forecast assumptions
- Provide data-driven analysis to support stakeholders in understanding financial performance
- Assist in preparing presentations and reporting for finance and business teams
Management Reporting Support:
- Support the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Board Report and Fact-Book and all other Performance Management materials for the HET and Board
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand assumptions
- Support monthly performance management process to analyse the actual performance
Data & Process Management:
- Maintain and improve forecasting templates, models and tools
- Support standardisation of reports and processes to improve efficiency and consistency
- Identify opportunities for automation and work with Data/BI teams to implement improvements
- Ensure clear documentation of models, assumptions and processes
Qualifications and skills
Essential:
- Qualified accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Organised, should be able to manage multiple deadlines and deliver on time and to the standard expected
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, self-motivated and demonstrating high levels of initiative
- 10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, reporting or similar role
- Strong Excel skills, including building models and handling large datasets
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with structured data and produce clear outputs
- Strong communication skills, particularly in translating data into simple insights
Desirable:
- Familiarity with FX concepts and complex financial modelling
- Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience working with large datasets, consolidation tools, or planning systems
Exposure to FMCG, Consumer Health or multinational environments
