We’re currently seeking experienced Forklift Operator to join our dedicated Altona North team on the PM shift.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, great conditions, and the chance to be part of a high-performing logistics operation that connects customers across Australia.
About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded, and handled safely and efficiently. You’ll work collaboratively within our operations team to support interstate and regional freight movements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely load and unload palletised freight from trucks and containers
· Move, stack, and store freight with accuracy and care
· Inspect load restraints, packaging, and freight condition before dispatch
· Report any damages or equipment faults immediately
· Palletise and prepare freight for travel where required
· Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are always met
· Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets
· Overtime opportunities available as needed
What You’ll Bring
· Valid Forklift License (LF) – essential
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transport environment
· Experience working in a linehaul environment highly regarded
· Experience operating long-Tyne forklifts highly regarded
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
· Knowledge of load restraint and Dangerous Goods handling desirable
· Strong commitment to safety and WHS compliance
· Excellent attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
