Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases (CE&IG) Korea is a subsidiary of Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Group) and is incorporated in South Korea. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing Nikkiso CE&IG Korea team.

개요

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems across business operations and projects. This role ensures system safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards while supporting both engineering design and project execution.

 

The position focuses on power distribution, protection systems, and electrical infrastructure, and collaborates with instrumentation and upstream engineers to ensure integrated system performance.

 

In addition to the above positions, the Electrical Engineer may also be assigned to perform the role of a  project engineer or a service engineer depending on his technical competence and the company requirements.

책임

Electrical Design & Engineering

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, switchgear, MCC, and control panels
• Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and protection coordination
• Prepare and review electrical drawings (single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, layouts, other deliverables)
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards and codes

 

Engineering Documentation & Specification

• Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation
• Prepare and maintain bill of materials (BOM) and equipment lists
• Prepare material requisitions for electrical equipment
• Review of vendor documentation for approval and implementation
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and completeness

 

Project Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate with upstream and downstream engineers inside the engineering organization.
• Coordinate with project, procurement,  construction, commissioning   and other related functions
• Interface with vendors for equipment design and delivery
• Support implementation throughout project lifecycle
• In addition to the above responsibilities, perform project engineering or Service activities as required

 

Testing & Commissioning

• Execute or Support FAT, SAT, and site commissioning activities
• Verify installation and system performance
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform root cause analysis

 

System Integration & Collaboration

• Collaborate with instrumentation and automation engineers
• Ensure integration between electrical and control systems
• Execute multidisciplinary coordination

 

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Support audits and quality assurance activities
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions

자격 요건

• Associate  degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (전문학사 이상)
• Experience in electrical design and power systems
• Understanding of low/medium voltage systems and protection
• Experience with Power system tools with ETAP, SKM or similar tools
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• English communication skills
