As Tablet Packaging Documentation Specialist, you will own, govern and continuously improve the tablet packaging Batch Production Record (BPR) system for oral solid dose products, ensuring compliance with updated global packaging standards, GMP requirements, data integrity principles and document management processes. 

 

The role is accountable for the design, implementation and lifecycle management of hybrid MERP/Veeva batch documentation, supporting right-first-time batch execution, effective implementation of artwork and process changes, regulatory compliance and sustained inspection readiness. 

 

In this role you will…  

  • Lead the design, implementation and lifecycle management of tablet packaging Batch Production Records (BPRs), ensuring alignment with global packaging standards and site quality requirements. 

  • Own the transition and ongoing governance of SKU-specific packaging documentation, establishing standardised and scalable documentation structures that support business and compliance objectives. 

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve hybrid MERP and Veeva batch documentation, ensuring documentation remains current, accurate and compliant with GMP, data integrity and document management requirements. 

  • Coordinate cross-functional review and approval of new and revised packaging documentation with Operations, MSAT, QA, QP, Supply Chain, Artwork and E2E stakeholders. 

  • Assess, coordinate and implement documentation changes arising from artwork updates, regulatory requirements, process improvements and business initiatives, ensuring effective change control and minimal impact to supply continuity. 

  • Maintain documentation structures and master data required to support packaging execution, traceability, reconciliation and compliant batch release activities. 

  • Act as the Site Subject Matter Expert for tablet packaging documentation, providing technical leadership, training, coaching and day-to-day support to operational teams and stakeholders. 

  • Conduct risk and impact assessments associated with packaging documentation changes, ensuring quality, patient, compliance and business risks are appropriately managed and mitigated. 

  • Drive continuous improvement of packaging documentation processes, using operational performance data, deviation trends and user feedback to improve document effectiveness and right-first-time performance. 

  • Support audit and inspection readiness activities, ensuring packaging documentation systems, processes and procedures remain compliant with GMP, Data Integrity and Regulatory requirements. 

 

 

Why you?  

Basic Qualifications & Skills: 

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Degree in a Scientific, Engineering, Pharmaceutical or related discipline; or equivalent experience gained within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. 

  • Experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment. 

  • Strong understanding of batch production records, packaging operations and documentation management processes. 

  • Knowledge of GMP requirements, data integrity principles and quality systems. 

  • Experience using electronic manufacturing and documentation systems such as MERP, SAP, Veeva Vault or equivalent platforms. 

  • Ability to manage complex documentation changes across multiple stakeholders and functions. 

  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement capability. 

  • management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). 

 

Preferred: 

  • Experience of packaging artwork management and overprint processes. 

  • Understanding of batch reconciliation and packaging compliance requirements. 

  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections and audits. 

  • Knowledge of Lean, GPS and continuous improvement methodologies. 

  • Project or change management experience.
