## What you’ll do
- The candidate will be part of Fixed Access Engineering department with responsibility to focus on delivering a first-class network and services to our customers.
- With the Fixed Access engineering team, look after the country specific tests, the high-level design, the low-level design and the delivery of the fixed network infrastructure supporting the business strategy.
- Monitor the capacity making sure that all needed actions/orders are made to avoid high utilization.
- The team is part of a bigger team which design and deliver the Fixed Access Network in all the Vodafone countries, with a variety of architectures and technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- High Layer Design (HLD): Work with all Verticals to finalize an optimal High-level design.
- Engineering: Translate the High-Level Design in:
- VBOM : Definition of the resources needed (Computation, Storage, Virtual Machine)
- Low Level design to define the virtual layer (Vcenter, VM), the sub-interfaces, the connectivity and all configurations
- Connectivity: to define & deliver the connectivity matrix to connect to all the hosts and network needed by Security Zoning & HLD
- Cyber Security: Guarantee CBS Security compliance accordingly to CBS guideline:
1. Get the approval of Security by Design
2. Keep in good CBS state dealing with CSAN
3. Executing recurrent VAPT
- VM, OS & Application: Execute the installation and configuration of VM, OS & SW as for HLD
- Acceptance & MOP: Define Acceptance in TC, MoP and FoA for all the activities
- LCM: Manage with vendors and Operations Life Cycle Management of all the technologies
- Asset Management: to manage all the asset inventory updates
## Who you are
- University degree in computer engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering and/or at least 5 years work experience in an telecommunications operator /organization supporting large heterogeneous Access & IP infrastructures.
- Solid knowledge of IP technology and of Fixed networks requirements and characteristics
- Able to challenge given solutions and identify innovation opportunities.
- Certifications in CCNP, CCIE are considered an added value.
- Fluent in English.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Project management skills and ability to work in a team and project-oriented organization.
- Strong customer orientation, cooperation and coordination.
- Cultural understanding and communication skills.
- Goal oriented and enjoy taking initiative as well as responsibility.
