What you will do
Assist the Director of Engineering in daily operations, ensuring proper maintenance of all resort facilities, including kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Manage Engineering staff responsibilities, performance reviews, scheduling, and staffing processes. Oversee maintenance contracts and coordinate work with external contractors.
- Prepare and submit operational reports required for daily engineering needs.
- Approve duty rosters and ensure proper enforcement of staff meal and break periods in compliance with hotel regulations.
- Support continuous improvement through cost‑saving initiatives and work simplification programs.
What you bring
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
High attention to detail, with a commitment to safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and solve problems efficiently in a fast‑paced resort environment.
5+ years of engineering experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
