Overview
This role serves as a key clinical resource and patient advocate, coordinating the complex care of patients with advanced lung disease from initial referral through transplant evaluation, selection, waitlisting, and transplantation.
Facilitate multidisciplinary communication throughout evaluation process
Responsibilities
Clinical management of general hepatology patients, transplant candidates and living donors from the time of referral through transplantation and beyond.Qualifications
Education- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
- 2 years of nursing experience Required
- 2 years of critical care or procurement experience Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
- CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator Preferred or
- CCTN - Certified Cardiothoracic Nurse within Cardiac Surgery Subspecialty Preferred or
- CCPC Preferred
