Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Warehouse in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating clearly with employees and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter incidents while supporting smooth daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-screening requirements.
• Screen visitors, contractors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with established procedures; verify credentials, maintain required logs, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Operate screening equipment and review access credentials, while escalating prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, or policy concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
