Overview
A Shelf Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical equipment on the platform, while ensuring regulatory compliance and developing maintenance plans.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of electrical equipment on platform including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, power transducers
- Electrical isolations
- Calibration of equipment
- Regulatory compliance (USCG and MMS)
- Assisting in the development of Electrical maintenance plans
- Strict adherence to all safety standards
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 5+ years’ electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry
- Valid TWIC card
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
