Position Overview
At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), the Site Coordinator is responsible for the movement and delivery of the company’s products and services by tracking, investigating, and reporting operational information and resolving problems. Site coordinator helps coordinate the operations of the branch. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the branch.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities Operations- Involved with coordinating operations activities to obtain optimum efficiency and economy.
- Plans, and help develop operational policies (warehousing, transportation, customer, etc.).
- Works closely with delivery staff and customers in identifying and potentially eliminating any issues on all sites.
- Works closely with central dispatch and Operations Manager on worker efficiency, site coordination and customer site needs or requests.
- Operates efficient central dispatch system, when required due to dispatcher unavailability.
- Inspects and manages physical condition of equipment, utilization of building storage amenities.
- Works closely with purchasing and receiving department for accurate product arrival.
- Involved in scheduling repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure drivers are properly trained in safety and other areas necessary to be effective.
- Ensure we take advantage of technology and remain competitive in our market by researching and maintaining product awareness.
- Outlines policies, programs or operation changes to be implemented.
- Maintains direct communication with Managers, Sales team and customers for missing material, back order and difficulties with jobsite, delivered orders.
- Maintain business confidentiality relative to personnel, pricing, promotion, customer lists, financial reports, and methods of distribution.
- Ensure the company delivers highest quality products and services to customers.
- Ensure safety policies and OSHA regulations are followed in
- Ensure that all trucking operations meet DOT guidelines and regulations.
- Develop solid business relationships with new or existing customers.
- May travel to sites pre, during and post-delivery to ensure efficiency, accuracy, damages and polices adhered to.
- Support Our Foundation in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
- Other duties may be assigned
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training.
- At least two years of previous experience in managing day-to-day operations or related experience.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products
- Professional communications skills and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic construction materials and optimal product distribution.

Reports ToBranch Manager CompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state.

- Total Compensation (Base): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year
