Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Shape, manage and improve OD programmes that support individual, management and leadership capability.
- Design and facilitate team effectiveness workshops, using relevant OD tools, diagnostics and psychometric approaches.
- Design and facilitate leadership development programmes, working closely with senior leaders to identify evolving needs of the organisation and its’ leaders.
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to diagnose OD needs, recommend practical approaches and deliver interventions aligned to agreed priorities.
- Support change, culture, engagement, recognition and DIB activity, helping leaders and teams adopt and embed effective ways of working.
- Take responsibility for identifying, prioritising and responding to learning and development needs at organisational, leadership, functional and individual levels.
- Manage assigned OD projects, including plans, timelines, milestones, risks, measures of success and stakeholder communication.
- Build trusted relationships across the organisation, acting as a credible partner on OD, learning, engagement and culture activity.
- This is an evolving role, and the above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive; the postholder may be requested to assume additional duties, as might reasonably be required. This job description will be reviewed during the annual performance review process.

Experience
- Significant experience operating in an Organisation Development role (E)
- Experience shaping and delivering training programmes, learning initiatives or facilitated workshops for varied audiences and business needs (E)
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing recommendations, decisions or outcomes within agreed priorities (E)
- Prior experience working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry (P)
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent relevant experience (P)
Skills/Specialist knowledge
- Experience using psychometric tools or team diagnostics to support team development activity; certification in one or more relevant tools (E)
- Strong consulting, diagnostic and facilitation skills, with the ability to identify business needs and recommend practical OD solutions (E)
- Confident using data, feedback and insight to identify organisational themes, shape recommendations and assess impact (E)
- Experience supporting organisational change, culture, engagement or team effectiveness initiatives (E)
- Ability to think cross-functionally, connect activity to business objectives and work effectively with stakeholders at different levels (E)
- Confidence operating with ambiguity, using judgement to prioritise and progress work within agreed OD priorities (E)
- Strong planning and project management skills, with attention to quality, timelines, risks and stakeholder communication (E)
- Proactive, solutions-focused and able to work independently, escalating risks, dependencies and decisions as appropriate (E)
- Ability to identify appropriate opportunities to use AI and digital tools to improve OD delivery, strengthen insight, streamline ways of working and enhance the employee experience (E)
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and work effectively across the organisation (E)
