What this role is all about
Provide exceptional bar service by preparing and serving beverages efficiently and courteously. Maintain bar cleanliness, manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and ensure compliance with hotel and legal standards.
What you’ll be doing
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years old
- 2+ years of experience as a bartender or barback
- Food Handling Certificate
- TIPS certification
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Strong math, organization, and multitasking skills
- Able to lift to 25 lbs. or more and stand for 8–10 hours
- Experience with POS and basic computer systems
Expected Hours of Work
- Flexibility to work variable days, including weekends and holidays, is required.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts (days, nights,) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, take orders, and serve drinks and food using upselling techniques
- Prepare beverages per recipe, including cocktails, coffee drinks, and wine service
- Manage bar setup, cleanliness, restocking, and closing duties
- Maintain inventory levels, track usage, place orders, and monitor waste
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health regulations, and safety standards
- Operate POS system, handle payments, and perform accurate cash handling duties
- Provide guest information about menu items and hotel services
- Handle guest complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with private events, and other service areas as needed

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information
Hourly compensation range is $20.33 - $21.58 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and specific/overall experience.
