Now Hiring: LPN or RN – Private Duty Nursing
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week| Weekend Availability Required
Shift: Days/Evenings | Schedule Based on Client Needs

NurseCore is seeking an experienced LPN or RN to provide one-on-one, in-home skilled nursing care for a 45-year-old male client who is bedbound and requires ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube care. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced with medically complex clients, and comfortable providing specialized nursing care in the home setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
- Provide ventilator management and monitoring according to the established plan of care
- Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered
- Administer G-tube feedings, flushes, and medications
- Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, and changes in the client's condition
- Provide positioning, turning, and skin-integrity support for a bedbound client
- Maintain infection-control and safety precautions
- Recognize and respond appropriately to respiratory complications and changes in condition
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses
- Communicate changes in the client's condition to the appropriate clinical team
- Follow physician orders, the established plan of care, and NurseCore policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Florida LPN or RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in a supervised setting within the past three (3) years
- Ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube experience required
- Experience caring for medically complex and/or bedbound clients preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Successful completion of required Relias competency and skills assessments
- Valid AHCA Level 2 Background Screening or ability to obtain
- Negative TB screening within the past 1 year or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
- Ability to work independently and provide safe, high-quality care in the home setting
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week
- Weekend availability required
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements
