We are hiring a Distribution Quality Leader - Korea, India, South East Asia, based out of our Seoul, South Korea office., They will manage a team of five QA professionals based in India & Korea, and be a key member of the Distribution Quality team in Asia.

Reporting to Asia Distribution Quality Director, this role has direct responsibility for Quality Assurance in Medtronic's Supply Chain and Distribution operations in South Korea, India, and oversight across several South-East Asian countries. They are a critical partner to operational leadership in these countries, along with our external logistics partners to mitigate risk in our operations, support optimization of processes and ensure Medtronic’s standards of product and process quality are maintained. They will also work closely with local QMS and Regulatory leaders in these countries.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures within distribution and supply chain operations that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.

  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.

  • Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations.

  • Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaises with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits.

  • Prepares reports and/or necessary documentation (ex Corrective and Preventative Actions) and provides to applicable stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies within distribution and supply chain operations are maintained and modified regularly.

  • Enables best practice sharing within Asia, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex quality and compliance topics.

  • Healthcare / Medical Devices experience preferred, otherwise experience in highly regulated industries.

  • Strong Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Quality Assurance principle and Process Improvement experience.
