The Position

This is a fixed-term opportunity for 2 years.

The Opportunity

As a Travel and Expense Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring an adequate and sustainable adherence of Company’s policies, Local/External regulatory requirements, process and procedures in order to minimize the compliance risks. Travel and Expense Compliance Analyst has a strong understanding of the business processes, audit and assurance and their main responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Assessing employee expense claims accurately and in a timely manner against company policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Managing daily priorities and conducting expense audits to ensure on-time task execution and early identification of non-compliance areas.
• Maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders to enhance service satisfaction, identify risks, and enable strong partnerships.
• Updating compliance checklists, and reason codes based on Industry Codes, Roche Group Directives, and local policies.
• Documenting all compliance assessment results clearly while preparing and delivering finalized monthly and quarterly reports on time.
• Escalating compliance issues promptly to line managers and affiliates, recommending resolution plans, and supporting related ad-hoc projects or training materials.
• Driving continuous improvement by collaborating with team members and managers to propose process enhancements to Global Leads and participate in solution delivery.

Who you are

• University or College Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics
• 1-2 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or expense management within a regulated environment 
• Experience with Concur and T&E SAP systems is an advantage 
• Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a compliance-focused mindset
• Growth mindset, adaptable to change, and accountable for personal development
• Out-of-the-box thinking, ability to challenge the status quo, effective conflict resolution skills, paired with excellent teamwork and professionalism
• Proficiency in English and Greek
