Job description & summary

Are you a data professional ready to take the next step in your career, taking more ownership of data engineering projects, working with cloud technologies and modern data platforms, and starting to guide technical decisions?

As a Senior Associate Data Engineer, you will:

• Co-design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and automate data ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
• Implement integrations between databases, applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Work with both batch and real-time data processing solutions.
• Participate in cloud migration and modern data platform initiatives.
• Investigate technical issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and testing teams.
• Support technical workshops and explain complex concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Grow toward Lead Data Engineer or Data Architect career paths.

What matters to us

• Solid experience in software development and data engineering, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, GIT, databases, and programming concepts such as object-oriented programming (OOP), along with a genuine motivation to keep growing your technical skills.
• Proven project delivery experience in at least one of the following technologies: Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric and Cloud technologies.
• Ability to independently translate technical designs into clear, client-friendly explanations, and confidence in leading technical workshops with clients or stakeholders.

What will help you stand out

• Practical experience with data warehousing, data lakes, Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, data quality, operational data store, or data mastering.
• Hands-on experience and certification in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience applying CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, or automated testing in real projects.
• Solid experience with technologies such as Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, BigQuery, or similar tools.
• Interest and initial hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, and AI agents — e.g. using APIs, prompt engineering, Knowledge Graph or RAG.
