The Director, Talent & People Development (T&PD) is responsible for increasing organizational performance through the design, development, implementation and adoption of talent development and training initiatives that elevate organizational talent, improve job competency, and increase speed to productivity.Benefits

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Development
- Leadership of the annual talent development cycle, to include goal setting, coaching, performance management, and goal achievement review.
- Leadership of annual talent review process, including the identification of future needs, calibration of existing talent v potential, and identification and development of high-potential individuals.
- Leadership of bench/succession planning processes throughout all levels of the organization to ensure both organizational growth and business continuity.
- Collaborates with Global Learning & Development on administration and execution of global initiatives and annual programs.
Training
- Leadership of the full training cycle, including needs assessment, curriculum design, module development, execution & delivery, and measurement.
- Responsible for ensuring a fully integrated training strategy that improves competencies at every level and expedites the time from start to proficient/productive for every role.
- Oversight for all training delivery mechanisms—including IRL instructors, vendors, contractors, on-line systems, learning management systems, etc.
Systems
- Sponsorship for all technology and systems supporting T&PD initiatives and processes.
- Responsible for identifying and ensuring proper integration of T&PD tools within the broader system architecture.
Financial
- Responsible for providing annual budgetary recommendations and business case for financial investment related to T&PD initiatives, including labor estimations, development costs, system requirements, travel needs, etc.
Core Competencies and Requirements
Education
- 4-year degree in related field (i.e. Human Resources; I/O Psychology; Instructional Design; etc.) or significant related experience
- Graduate degree preferred
Work Experience
- 10+ years experience in people development and/or training design in an organization of equivalent or greater scale
- 5+ years in a senior management role
