The Partner within the Accounting Operations and Transformation team has primary responsibility of oversight over a service line and engagement team. As a leader of the firm, the Partner will demonstrate excellent project management skills, client service, and positive coaching to the team members in developing technical and professional competency.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth of an Advisory practice by developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans in accordance with the firm’s mission and vision and the commitment to always act as a trusted partner to our clients.
- Elevate the Centri Brand by demonstrating thought leadership and embracing our marketing and sales programs.
- Building national relationships to further expand the Centri Brand in developing business and revenue for the Firm.
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent engagements within the Accounting Operations and Transformation Advisory practice to provide accounting and finance transformation as well as post-acquisition transformation and value creation.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex transformation concepts to support Firm initiatives and development opportunities with internal knowledge sharing and panel discussions.
- Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverables.
- Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex transformation matters
- Responsible for ensuring the engagement team has an in-depth understanding of the client’s business.
- Leadership responsibilities include building in person connections with the team, peers and senior leaders in the Firm.
- Participate in the performance process to provide feedback for team members. Identifying additional training or parts of engagements that are beneficial for team members education. Reaching out to Human Resources when potential issues arise.
- Continue coaching the team to share knowledge in connection with the CPE committee to develop team members for the next level.
- Support Firm initiatives and development opportunities.
- Work to build relationships and promote collaboration in a hybrid environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of Accounting Operations, Accounting Transformation and Finance Transformation.
- Thrives in an environment of changing priorities.
- Ability to work towards enhancing technical and project management skills through on-the-job feedback and performance evaluations.
- Interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships.
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Understand the services offered by the Firm, look for opportunities to represent the Firm, grow the client base and increase brand recognition.
- Recognizes opportunities for learning by pursuing challenging assignments and a hunger to become an expert.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
- Active CPA license required.
- 15+ years of relative accounting experience; public accounting or professional services highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift items up to 30 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel up to 25%.
