Account Executive - Hospice Sales-Above and Beyond Hospice

Mount Carmel Hospice / Trinity Health At Home
Location: Candidate can live between Dubuque and Cedar Rapids. Office is in Monticello

The Account Executive serves as the primary sales and relationship management representative for Above and Beyond Hospice. This individual develops and maintains referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, CCRCs, and physician practices. The role is responsible for generating referrals, growing market share, coordinating transitions of care, and educating patients, families, and referral sources about hospice services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with referral sources.
• Drive hospice admissions and increase market share within assigned accounts.
• Process referrals and coordinate patient transitions to hospice care.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support patient needs.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare partners on hospice services.
• Meet sales goals and territory growth objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Proven sales and/or marketing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and develop referral networks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Iowa driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of healthcare sales experience.
• Home health or hospice sales experience.
• Clinical background such as Nursing or Medical Social Work.

Ideal Candidate

A successful candidate will have:

• Direct hospice sales experience (highly preferred).
• Existing relationships with post-acute and healthcare referral sources.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work across clinical and operational teams to facilitate patient care.
