Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our President, you will be responsible for implementing the strategic direction set forth by the CommonSpirit strategic plan. The President connects the elements of the local health care delivery system including CommonSpirit Memorial North Georgia facilities, vendors and partners to increase the effectiveness of care delivery and population health management. The President is the public face of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia in the community embodying the mission of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia to its constituents.

 

Every day, you will provide leadership to the overall operational management for a CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia facility (or multiple facilities) in a market in accordance with the mission, vision and values of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia and the Board of Trustees. You will be expected to assist and advise the Market President in strategic planning, business development, implementing organizational procedures and processes, and analysis of opportunities for expanding or discontinuing lines of business. Also serves as the physician liaison, patient advisory council, and provider recruitment contact.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 7 years’ progressive experience in health care administration and management in a complex organization that includes experiences in multiple departments within a hospital.

 

Responsibilities:

• Optimizes Quality, Safety, and the Patient Experience in Partnership with Physicians
• Optimizes Clinical Operations and Delivers Value to the Community
• Serves as a leader in forwarding the goals of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia in the community.
• Serves as a Community and Organizational Role Model for the Values and Standards of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia
• Communicates and collaborates with board members and organization officials to ensure efficient facility functioning. Develops board in accordance with their role and commitments, including evolution to new structures and accountabilities
• Coordinates the development and implementation of an annual facility (facilities) budget that supports the overall strategic plans and aligns to expectations of CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital North Georgia

Job Requirements

Required

• Master's Degree required
• At least 7 years’ progressive experience in health care administration and management in a complex organization that includes experiences in multiple departments within a hospital required

Preferred

• Certified Healthcare Executives (FACHE)
