The Opportunity

Responsible for administering, consulting, and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. Develops pre-sales contract strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures the fulfillment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. It does not require the incumbent to have legal qualifications.

How you´ll make an impact.

  • Target Formulates competitive bids/estimates/quotations, considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each situation. Ensures tenders are well documented promptly and with appropriate detail, including complete and accurate costs.

  • Preparation Manages the preparation of all technical (e.g., defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g., total price sheet, cash flow analysis), and, if necessary, project management (e.g., quantifying hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.

  • Coordination through bid/estimate/quotation planning ensures that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and in accordance with established quality procedures.

  • Manages external services to support bid/estimation preparation, such as translations and governmental approvals.

  • Documentation collects and archives documentation related to the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions made during the development process. Regularly reports on the status of bids/estimates/quotations using defined tools, and collects and analyzes the reasons tenders are won or lost.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Education: Electrical or Electronic Engineer/Technician

  • Intermediate/Advanced English

  • 3 years in similar positions.

  • Preparation of Technical and commercial Tender/Bid/Offers for Substation protection & control systems and SAS.

  • Desirable experience in Teleprotection and communication systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Visio, and Advanced Excel knowledge

  • Desirable experience in Salesforce.

  • Desirable experience in the SAP Cockpit Module.
