This transformation will simplify and standardise ways of working, enhance business capabilities, and establish a stronger foundation to support future growth and innovation.
To help deliver this ambitious programme, we are establishing a new Business Transformation team within TV Distribution. We are seeking a Director, Organisational Change Management on a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead the people side of the transformation. Working across a portfolio of strategic initiatives, this role will define and execute the organisational change strategy, partnering closely with executive sponsors, programme leadership, and business stakeholders to accelerate adoption, build organisational capability, and embed lasting behavioural change.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping leaders and employees successfully navigate change while establishing the organisational change capability that will support the wider transformation programme.
What you'll do:
Lead the Organisational Change Strategy
- Define and execute a line of business organisational change strategy that supports a portfolio of strategic business transformation initiatives.
- Establish scalable change management frameworks, governance, methodologies, tools, and standards for the Business Transformation function.
- Align change strategies with programme objectives, business outcomes, adoption goals, and value realisation.
- Develop and maintain an integrated change roadmap across multiple initiatives, ensuring a coordinated approach to organisational change.
Drive Adoption and Business Readiness
- Lead organisational adoption strategies that drive sustainable behavioural change and successful business outcomes.
- Define and monitor adoption KPIs, business readiness measures, and success metrics across the transformation portfolio.
- Assess organisational readiness and implement interventions to address adoption risks before key delivery milestones.
- Design and deliver change interventions that extend beyond communications and training to achieve lasting behavioural and organisational change.
Partner with Business and Programme Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, programme leadership, and senior business stakeholders on organisational change, adoption, and business readiness.
- Coach leaders to visibly sponsor and lead change across their functions.
- Facilitate executive alignment and support governance forums, steering committees, and strategic decision-making.
- Build trusted relationships across business, technology, HR, and project delivery teams to ensure change is embedded throughout programme delivery.
Deliver Change Across Strategic Initiatives
- Provide hands-on change leadership across priority transformation initiatives, rapidly building an understanding of business challenges and delivery objectives.
- Develop and execute integrated change plans covering stakeholder engagement, communications, capability development, learning, business readiness, and reinforcement activities.
- Partner closely with programme and project teams to embed change activities into delivery plans, governance, and implementation approaches.
Manage Enterprise Change
- Assess cumulative change impacts across initiatives and proactively manage organisational change capacity.
- Identify portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and stakeholder impacts, recommending mitigation strategies where required.
- Develop executive reporting to monitor adoption, readiness, change health, and overall progress against transformation objectives.
Build Organisational Capability
- Establish and mature organisational change management capability within the Business Transformation function.
- Develop practical tools, templates, playbooks, and guidance that enable project teams and business leaders to successfully lead change.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, change leadership, and organisational learning across the transformation portfolio.
- Support the development of internal change capability, equipping leaders and teams to effectively lead future transformation initiatives.
What you have:
- Significant experience leading organisational change within large-scale business transformation programmes.
- Demonstrated success driving measurable adoption, behavioural change, and business readiness across complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Experience establishing or maturing organisational change capabilities within transformation offices, programme management environments, or large-scale change functions.
- Strong understanding of recognised change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR or APMG Change Management), with the judgement to apply them pragmatically to deliver business outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and build alignment across multiple business functions without formal authority.
- Experience partnering with programme management, business process transformation, technology implementation, operating model design, and business readiness activities.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, establishing new ways of working, and delivering impact within a newly formed transformation function.
- Experience within Media & Entertainment or another complex global organisation is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Relevant certifications in organisational change management, programme management, Agile delivery, or related disciplines are advantageous but not required.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience leading enterprise-wide mindset, culture, and behavioural change alongside technology and process transformation.
- Demonstrated success building organisational change capability or functions from the ground up.
- Experience supporting executive leaders and strengthening sponsorship across complex transformation programmes.
- A pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach that balances strategic leadership with hands-on delivery and a passion for helping organisations successfully navigate change.
