The Opportunity
Join Micromine as a Junior Data Management Consultant based in Santiago, Chile or Lima, Peru. You'll support the delivery of Geobank database solutions for mining customers across LATAM, gaining hands-on experience in SQL Server, data migration, workflow configuration and database management while contributing to technology projects that help mining operations make better decisions from trusted data.

• Help mining customers unlock value from their data through successful database implementations.
• Develop expertise across SQL Server, Geobank and mining data management practices.
• Contribute to complex migration projects involving diverse customer data sources.
• Strengthen data integrity and reliability for critical operational and geological information.
• Partner with consultants, technical specialists and end users across customer environments.
• Build a strong foundation in database administration, support and solution delivery.
   

What you need to succeed

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Experience writing, analysing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Proficiency using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Ability to investigate and resolve data quality and database-related issues.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong customer support skills.
