Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopedics business into a standalone company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements (including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required), regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions and approvals.

Job Summary
The Portfolio Analytics & Digital Lead will report to the Manager, Portfolio Management for Trauma and Extremities Supply Chain, working across the platform to strengthen the analytics, reporting, and digital tools that underpin portfolio and financial decision making. This person will bring advanced data analytics and digital-tool capability to accelerate Portfolio Segmentation, COGS Improvement, and Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage analytical and AI tools (i.e. Alteryx) to analyze SKU portfolio to enable optimization and End of Life (EOL) reviews.
- Partner with Finance on COGS and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analytics, establishing metrics to track roadmap progress with key DRIs and stakeholders.
- Implement digital tools that enable accurate, efficient, and recurring project financial reporting with Project Managers.
- Develop and own performance reporting mechanisms (i.e. Power BI dashboards) for various Portfolio initiatives.
- Create learning materials and trainings to drive change management as new reports and data are introduced.
Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree is required
Required:
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional work experience.
- Supply Chain experience
- Strong data curiosity and analytical acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable items at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Hands-on experience deploying digital and analytics tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Excel, and Tableau.
- Ability to "zoom out" and frame complex information simply and clearly for a leadership audience.
- Demonstrated success influencing others across a complex organization and working effectively in ambiguity.
Preferred:
- Supply chain planning experience.
- Project management experience.
- Financial and business acumen, including Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Gross Profit (GP), and OpEx/CapEx expenditures.
Other
- This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
