They are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to take ownership of day-to-day field operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. • Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
    • Establish and maintain project schedules, sequencing, manpower planning, and daily work activities.
    • Coordinate multiple trades and ensure construction activities are properly sequenced to maintain project momentum.
    • Conduct regular jobsite meetings and coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and project team members.
    • Identify potential schedule, quality, safety, and constructability issues early and implement effective solutions.

    • Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and project requirements.
  • Project Coordination & Communication
    • Work closely with the Project Manager throughout preconstruction, mobilization, construction, and project closeout.
    • Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and other project documents to identify field impacts and potential conflicts.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve field issues.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide accurate updates regarding progress, schedule, manpower, materials, and potential risks.
    • Communicate changes, delays, site conditions, and other project issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
    • Assist with constructability reviews and provide field input during preconstruction and planning.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, design professionals, and internal project teams.
  • Safety & Quality Control
    • Promote and maintain a strong jobsite safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
    • Conduct and participate in safety meetings, inspections, and jobsite orientations.
    • Monitor subcontractor safety practices and address unsafe conditions immediately.
    • Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction.
    • Verify that work is performed according to plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes.
    • Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective action before they impact the schedule or subsequent trades.
    • Manage punch-list activities and ensure timely completion of outstanding work.
  • Scheduling & Documentation
    • Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and subcontractors.
    • Track project progress against the overall construction schedule and proactively address potential delays.
    • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, site access, and other logistical requirements.
    • Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, photographs, manpower records, and progress updates.
    • Assist with project closeout, inspections, punch lists, final documentation, and turnover.
