Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Platform Engineer – BPM Platforms (Appian) to join our HAI Platform Operations group within the Digital Platform Services group under the Global Technology Organization.

As the Senior Specialist, Hyperautomation Platform Operations (R3), you will lead the Hyperautomation platform operations team, taking ownership of the support, innovation, and optimization of multiple global platforms across the BPM, RPA, and Process Mining spaces. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and strategic foresight, you will go beyond daily coordination to proactively drive operational excellence and influence global Hyper automation platform strategies. You will partner and collaborate closely with cross-functional architects, product teams, application operations, and platform engineers to design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure enterprise capabilities. Leveraging your advanced problem-solving skills, you will navigate complex technical challenges, mitigate operational risks, and provide technical mentorship and coaching to team members, ensuring our digital transformation initiatives are successfully executed and aligned with broader organizational objectives.

What will you do in this role 

• Lead the Hyperautomation platform operations team, supporting multiple platforms in the BPM, RPA, and Process Mining space.

• Be responsible for coordination of Hyperautomation platform operations activities globally.

• Provide hands-on support for the Appian platform.

• Collaborate closely with architects, product teams, application operations, and other platform engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and secure BPM capabilities.

• Provide technical leadership to Hyper-automation platform operations team.  You will be responsible for managing and optimizing operations across BPM, RPA and Process Mining technologies.

• Will drive global operational excellence, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams including; Product, Platform Engineering, Application Operations and Infrastructure groups.

• Manage platform operations by leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, robust, and secure BPM capabilities to the enterprise.

What Should you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3 to 5 years' experience leading an IT operations team leveraging ITIL processes, with a demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Working knowledge of Appian, UiPath, and Celonis technologies.

• Track record managing Cloud Operations in an AWS, Hybrid vendor cloud environment.

• Experience in developing enterprise monitoring using Dynatrace and Graphana.

Preferred

• Experience working in highly regulated GxP/SOX environments (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services) is a plus.

• 5+ years' experience leading a platform operations team.

• Working knowledge of AWS technologies.

• Deep understanding of platform governance processes.

• Self-driven and proactive, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
