Description
The Manufacturing Operations Analyst is responsible for participating in the development and implementation of process analysis tools and measurement systems. The Manufacturing Operations Analyst turns data into information, information into insights, and insights into key business decisions that steer the direction of the manufacturing organization. The scope of responsibility covers business processes in manufacturing, warehousing, and the global supply chain.
What You’ll Do
Support industrial engineers, business process owners, and leadership in defining data and analysis needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines in building software packages for collecting & analyzing data that will be used for improving business decision making.
Support the industrial engineering team on projects related to data validation & reporting, visualization of results, and documentation.
Participate in production floor data collection for validation & testing of new solutions.
Use SQL to query available data sets to provide insights and reports according to requests from stakeholders throughout the organization.
Develop & maintain software tools built in VBA. Support user needs with troubleshooting and updates to keep tools abreast of changes in the business process.
Rapidly deliver concepts and prototypes that can be presented to industrial engineers and management for feedback.
What You’ll Bring
The right person for this role has exceptional analytical capabilities, thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, is a good communicator, and is passionate about enabling the future of cloud computing.
Associates Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering disciplines.
2 + years relevant experience in data analytics.
Fluency in visual basic programming.
Experience with analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or equivalents.
Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
