CNC Manufacturing Foreman & Purchasing Coordinator

AVStar Fuel Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Foreman & Purchasing Coordinator to lead our CNC manufacturing operations while managing purchasing and material coordination responsibilities. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced CNC professional who can oversee daily shop activities, support production schedules, maintain quality standards, and ensure the materials, tooling, and supplies needed for production are available when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily CNC shop operations and production activities.
• Provide direction, support, and training to CNC machinists and shop personnel.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment as needed and assist with complex machining issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
• Monitor production, quality, workflow, and schedules.
• Troubleshoot machining and production issues and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive shop environment.
• Purchase raw materials, tooling, cutting tools, and shop supplies.
• Obtain quotes, place and track purchase orders, and manage vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory and anticipate material requirements to prevent production delays.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, workflow, and purchasing efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience required.
• Previous CNC lead, foreman, or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, materials, setups, and inspection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Purchasing, procurement, inventory, or materials-management experience preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience is a plus.
• Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
